Hey guys im very curious what kinda stuff the mod allows for. Can anyone share pictures of how theyre using this mod? I wanna know what kinda uses i might be able to make or have for this mod. As it stands im not sure what this mod does. Thank you <3

I want a collision box reduction for the small grid blocks, not just blast door pieces.

This is "must have" mod for creating custom doors in 1 block air space. In 2019 the valilla blocks still explodes.

I don't understand why we can't just have bigger doors/ramps in vanilla as demostrated by modders many times over? Why bother with out of control, exploding rotor + blast door constructions? Why modders need to fix broken bits at all?

one year later, still the most important mod on my list

i love you

Thank you! I had a trouble with the hitboxes for a long time, this is the solution! Your work makes usable what has been useless. I've heard the devs would have said, the current (and useless) hitboxes are on purpose, but this piece of modding makes me think that was just a excuse to hide something.

this is still very much useful!

I haven't checked.
Skorpnok 26. juli 2015 kl. 12:22
ok, nice
Harag  [ophavsmand] 26. juli 2015 kl. 12:12
These have DX11 textures now. I also took the opportunity to simplify the collisions shapes. If this causes any problems, please report back here.
Skorpnok 25. juli 2015 kl. 13:21
Dx11 please

very nice mod, I was having trouble with my lowering platform before this.
Kadian 25. feb. 2015 kl. 21:44
good thing that someone fixed this ; i was just trying to create a 'big' small ship with a blast door and those damn things kept breaking half my ship because they wouldn't fit into the hole i gave them :< very annoying. Big thank you.

A must have, just tried turning the mod off on a old save that i used it on, it almost blew up in my face without this mod!

Never playing without again

I haven't checked. Why don't you try and tell us ;-)
kennet0508 15. jan. 2015 kl. 9:15
has this been fixed? or is this mod still nessescary?
DarthLyte 17. okt. 2014 kl. 8:35
Ya I Noticed Later..But i still didn't know if he knew, so i didn't delet my post... Thanks for responding though Harag!!!;-)
Harag  [ophavsmand] 16. okt. 2014 kl. 13:26
The link is not that important any more, considering we now have block categories and block search.
DarthLyte 16. okt. 2014 kl. 5:40
PumkinKing72-- The link u put up isn't valid anymore....FYI.

THANNNNNK YOUUUU YES HOT (( DAS ist Hart geht nicht kaputt ))
McGuffin 26. sep. 2014 kl. 7:52
maaan, can you make the same for stations ? ive been trying to make a secret room very tight to normal blocks, but it keeps grinding against armor plates and exploading
jtgibson 25. sep. 2014 kl. 14:24
Also of note, I tried an interlocking door as posted in the thread, and the straight sides of the "teeth" will collide with one another.

Is there an LOD mesh supported by Space Engineers that obscures the cursor and projectiles but does not inhibit block collison? It's possible to "fit your hand in between" the edges of blast door blocks in this fashion to access control panels behind the block, or to shoot through the gap even though it appears to be airtight.
jtgibson 25. sep. 2014 kl. 14:11
After testing I have confirmed that rotors must be displaced by *exactly* -0.076666 (displayed as -7.7 cm) to fit blast doors seamlessly into the hull -- Ctrl+Click to set as normal. Any more displacement into the negative and the blocks will jitter due to collision. Any less displacement into the negative and they will not be able to be placed seamlessly adjacent to other blocks.

I would suggest receding the collision mesh ever so slightly farther, as there are still collision problems with this displacement -- you must build the closest side of the blast door before retracting the rotor or else the blocks cannot be placed.
jtgibson 25. sep. 2014 kl. 12:54
Oh, hey, cool! At least the community is here to pick up the ball -- it's been so long since I reported that... literally two months to this day. =P
KingdomBragg 23. sep. 2014 kl. 7:44
Thanks for these Harag. Hopefully as more people use this mod they may follow the forum link and convince the devs to make this vanilla.
Papa Seppo 23. sep. 2014 kl. 2:49
Thank you mate these will be useful. Can you make a set of 2x2x1 blocks like the ramp but normal light armor with corner blocks and all?
Daz the Lemur 22. sep. 2014 kl. 17:51
I would love to see a fix for every block collision mesh!
It's impossible to build compact piston apparatus without them damaging everything and causing physics glitches...
Ran-chan 22. sep. 2014 kl. 2:32
Their comment in the forums of 'It's intentional' seems more than a little odd. At least I know why by hatches were having so many problems.
Realworldjedi 21. sep. 2014 kl. 19:33
Thank you this is awesome! Never understood why the devs didn't do this in the first place
PumpkinKing72 21. sep. 2014 kl. 18:44
@styrkr. I feel your G-menu tribulation If you haven’t used this already I would highly recommend is to increase your G-menu size; the G-menu is in desperate need of a revamp I can think of several ways to improve it but in the meantime try doing the below. It is easy to do and worth it.

I found this from the mod [MOD]ShaoCorp Master Pack
G-menu expansion
Step 01: Download this: http://www.mediafire.com/view/tduz7p6gdzp7hl3/CubeBuilder.gsc
Step 02: Put that file in: C:\YOUR_STEAM_INSTALL_PATH\Steam\steamapps\common\SpaceEngineers\Content\Data\Screens
Harag  [ophavsmand] 21. sep. 2014 kl. 12:19
It replaces the default blocks.
N-Trippy 21. sep. 2014 kl. 11:49
Does it replace the doors? Or add modified copies? I'm running out of room in my G-Menu
DeAnti 21. sep. 2014 kl. 11:26
thank you!!
