usually trying to turn off mat_specular with the console in game crashes it. this will probably do the same thing but it makes no sense why gmod wouldn't have this as an option in the drawing tab in the first place.

Brother you struck gold with this addon. It's the only one in the entire steam workshop and it's absolutely necessary in everyone's library. I've been activating "mat_specular 0" manually for days once I finally found out about it. If I could mod I would have wanted to make this, but alas, I'm a normie. This addon saves me a lot of time. I hope it gets the front page on the workshop :steamthumbsup:

Thank you so much for this! I've been struggling with glitched reflective textures for months and I finally managed to fix it with your addon. Sure, I have to boot it up every time I load the map, but it gets the job done.

Yeah, i have an addon with a lot of playermodels, but all of them are kind of purple for some reason, i though this would fix it.
