Now it looks like other people already reported on it, but anyway.
the exact error says "Drain Mites: TypeLoadException: VTable setup of type DrainMites.DrainMiteCritob failed; Failed to call orig in OnModsInit"
This issue has been fixed on my end; however, I'm not gonna be able to publish the fix for some time due to unfortunate planning on my end. Give it some time; I'll comment here when it's finally fixed.
That's the whole log with only drain mites and downpour enabled. again going right from the gourmand quest spawn

Can be reproduced by walking three rooms to the right of the expedition gourmand quest start. Just reloading the game now too see if it happens with nothing else enabled

Right, and @Milkweed:
They actually do, sorta! Drain Mites can grab a variety of food items and bring them back to their den. But if you mean eating the item right then and there when they grab it... maybe.
First, I want to see if I can improve their pathing.
Will have a fix for this out within a few days.

Just saying "i got an error" isn't very helpful.
I have a suggestion; if you have Time, maybe you could make them Tamable or give them a Rep. system like scavs or lizards? I WANT TO MAKE NEW FRIENDS
