I figured out what was causing the crashing. I moved this mod above the "Astronomical Objects Reborn" mod in my load order and now it does not crash when added to a saved game. Thanks.

@HolyFarglesnot , was not using the old mod as it was far out of date, so it was just yours. I had not played Stellaris for a year and before I started again I did clean out all mods so there was nothing left behind. Anyway as I was not that far into the game I started a new game with it and had no problems since.

Not sure, Ben. Far as I know, there is no problem with it, so it is likely a mod conflict. Were you using an old version before switching to this one?

As I have used Dark Core in the past, I downloaded your updated version. Added it to an existing game and it crashes the game. Can it only be added to a new game ?

Thanks Myth! No conflicts I know of, but as with all UI mods, near the bottom is better.
