This mod removes the EPE requirement.
Only UPE + UPE Standalone Version is sufficient. DLC is not required.

So if i download this and the unit pack this will work?
as unit pack requires EPE but i don't have one of the DLCs so wont work?

The mod should work, there were no major changes in the last version.
Most likely you have another mod installed that overwrites culture files.

UPE is required (contains unit models). UPE - Standalone contains only culture and localization files, so no EPE is required.
Maybe something is not working in the current standalone version, but I will release an update next weekend.

Should I have both Unit Packs Expanded and Unit Packs Expanded - Standalone Version enabled for this to work or just the standalone?
Asking because when subscribed it said other mods are required to which I agreed and it subscribed me automatically then normal version + EPE
