This is really good.
With vanilla roads, it doesn't go well with grass roads, but it goes really well with the black of country roads and things like that. Thank you. AV's MOD road "Country1 2-way" 80 km/h. I'm trying out this combination of "better road" and "natural environment", and it looks better than this image.

Yeah roads are something else in this game, it's all procedural and hardcoded. If you know how to make bridges for CSL1 then you can definitely convert it over. I don't think CSL2 allows for imported assets yet

let me see, not even including the road, but i think im really looking for the steel girder. theres hundreds of roads and hundreds of road pillars and yet no one has made a US-based steel girder

i dont own cities skylines 2, but if you know someone who knows how to make bridges for cities skylines 1 id be more than happy to share the files!

Sound like the roads you're using are too thin, use a smaller width version

Alot of the bridges don't have a base is there something im missing?

Pushed an update, the rendering issue isnt fixable, you can read more above under "Known Issues." The update made more spread out pillars and fixed the see through sidewalks on country style roads.

thanks! I used some local designs along with some I saw in the NYC area. shame you cant get drawings for freeways, on account of concerns for safety
