It's just what I wanted, with colors uniform on the familiar game screen, but colors separated by purpose underneath the surface.
I'll never have to get confused about wiring or piping again. I'll treasure this mod.
this will make it only display colors in the overlay, not in regular mode
I want to use this MOD to organize the pipeline during overlay, but I don't want it to affect the normal appearance during gameplay.
This may be selfish, but just like you can toggle the display of colors during overlay,
is it possible to toggle the display of colors by turning paint on and off even when not in overlay mode?
That way, in addition to being able to enjoy the changes in appearance, I feel this MOD would do a great job as a means of separating wiring lines for people who don't want the appearance to change.
I made a request, and this MOD is truly amazing. Once again, thank you for the wonderful MOD!
The issue is that in automation layout, the wires are by default red or green in base game (depending on the signal state). With the paint layout enable, all wires become white - regardless of their logic. On big automation debugging, it helps to see the wire state and not white (or whatever user decides) color.
Probably the best would be user defined color that is affected by signal value (e.g. more intense / more green or more red-ish).
Thank you.
recent shenanigans in the game code (a failed attempt to fix updating) have caused it to start failing sometimes.
the most common issue seems to be the "restart pls" message loop, that can be circumvented by clicking the esc. key to skip the message
Only thing i could think of is maybe the updater requires all DLC? I only have 1 of the DLC.

also try "unsubscribe->resubscribe"
- updated plib to 4.16. this fixes the "isContentActive" crash for options of this mod
- added experimental alternating coloring; double clicking a color allows to lock in a secondary color that then is applied to every second connected conduit if using "paint network"
if you are in the respective pipe overlay, toggling "paint overlays" will show the correct color
it is compatible with both game versions
- I noticed that when colors are disabled the gases' borders are still colored. This is not the case with liquids
Thanx a lot!
