Higher thrust for sure, but you'd also need to make a second thruster to stop it, instead of it hitting the end of its rail, because it would be far too much kinetic energy dumped into the chassis.

@TheMadScot It does, but not as effectively. In order to see a noticeable difference you'd have to accelerate the gun block FAR faster than with the missiles, and ofc stopping it in the barrel is also hard. But yes, it would work!

I want to make a vanilla-compatible railgun using stacked gun bricks but I wonder if acceleram could be used to increase the range.

@erasemint I'm not using math bricks for time delay, as the missile has no time delay function.

why dont you use time sensors instead of math bricks for frame delay? a time sensor can only be as fast as the time of a frame, so if you set the time to be really low it will always be the time of a frame
