Love this mod. It would be an 11/10 if there were also some minor visual/reskin changes to the units depending on which upgrade is chosen. Like heavier plate armor or helms for upgrades that add armor/defense as an example.

I do think this mod is better than another blessing mod.
It's a shame that it don't work without overhaul mod.

I think he did not using any of your overhaul mod.

It's fine. Better to have my mods actually work together, albeit in separate versions, than have people crashing to desktop. Thank you for letting me know.

Thanks for catching this issue. Upon much testing ive learnt that when the two packfiles are combined (without any changes) they work fine, but when run seperately (i.e. the normal way) it does cause a crash and I have no idea why. There doesn't appear to be a fix and I am extremely confused. Sorry... I will keep working on this but this is the strangest bug i've come across in eight years.

Odd, I will double check the no caps versions. It was working for me when I tested it yesterday

Hello, this mod doesnt work with your no caps mod. it requires the capped original version.
I get CTD everytime i load with no caps version, but it works as intended with capped one.

My bad! I had another mod installed that replaced that rightmost button, that's why I couldn't see it. Works fine now, thanks!

@AngelPhoenix the scrap mod move the button for unit upgrade did you look beside on the right of the recruitement option of your army ?

Couldn't get this to work at all. Not even with the scrap framework mod :(

I dont use the frame work and its fine for me, but if that helps fix it for you then use it. Just speaking anecdotally.

as it says in the description there "In 6.0, CA restricted the scrap upgrade system to greenskin & woodelf only."

So it used to work without having a scrap mod, but CA made us have to get a workaround for other races than GS and WE now.

Just launched two separate campaigns and made sure I could get the upgrades with and without Mixu's.

I unfortunately cannot resolves your issues. This mod, with my overhaul, is all that you should need. I cannot recreate the problems you are experiencing. Other mods may cause issues, as is the case with all mods on the workshop.

Same issue - When I click the blessing it kind of glitches out. Do I need Mixu Unlocker or something? Or as this last guy said a "Scrap mod" Its the only part not working and I am using it as part of the compilation mod. Thanks

Also, i figured out why I had issues with the upgrades, i didnt have the scrap mod which is needed to show the UI for the upgrades. For others that have the same issue.

It should work without any other mod besides my Bretonnia Overhaul so that's really weird. There might be a mod conflict going on, but other than that I do not know.

does this mod require some sort of other mod to work properly?
i cannot get the unit upgrades page to show (trying to click the small icon on the unit plates)
using blessed bretonnia, the overhaul and this and auto vow as mods that affect bretonnia. (also unlocker and a few other start pos mods, but shouldnt really affect this one, havent had any ctd, just the menu for the upgrades that doesnt show).

I get this request a lot, so I will address it. The point of the royal longbows is to be a damage dealing ranged unit. I gave them fire originally but didn't like that made them feel more niche (since it changes what units they are good and bad against). I wanted peasant bowmen with pox arrows to be a viable choice instead of them as well, as again, I do not like bloat and like complex decision making in my game design.

Adding a royal men-at-arms with pox arrows isn't hard, I could do it in under an hour, its a deliberate choice not to make it.

I hope this doesn't sound like a lecture. I wanted to give you some insight into my choices seeing as you love my work, and I genuinely appreciate that.

its always apriciatred playing with your mods but if possible can you add royal-men-at arms(longbows) with fire and pox arrows as varrients

You are very welcome, i'm really glad that you enjoy this mod! I think its one of my more underrated ones, but then it is in the all-in-one mod and Dirty Dan has his original version which some people prefer! We just had vastly different takes on how to balance this.
