The map doesn't alter gameplay and do not fix provinces attributes/defense (random each game), so it's strange but there should probably some other good explanation. Maybe others players could comment to help there?
In "The Silver Wall" 90 Barbarians just routed immediately when the battle started.
Looks like they did not have a commander. - Has some AI-player assassinated him, but forgot to move in to take the province? I surely didn't do it. I didn't even think of the possibility. - In reality I would assume that Barbarians would elect a new leader in due time...
Can it be, that the province never had a leader? Or he died of some curse or illness? Can these things happen??
I am relatively new to the game (- this is only my 4th successful playthrough) - I am not really sure what things can happen in Dominions 6 - it sure looked like a bug.
But then: when one looks at very high PD provinces, their leadership is smaller than the actual amount of troops, so I don't quite get how stringently the game acts concerning leadership in general.
