Hi, thanks for this mod. I have a question: I've been trying to far_plane setting to push the far clipping plane further, and in an old forum they mention this as a line in a config file like "def/camera/units/interior_daf_xf.sii" for example.

Would you happen to know where to find that file? Is is extracted each time you run the game? Would the console work?

I’m sorry to say you’d need to experiment I’ve only tried to increase all of the plant values. SCS didn’t disclose what the values do so it’s a bit of trail and error. 😬

Because the new one is better and works even on less powerful systems. At first I wasn’t shure if the new version would work on less powerful systems but it does. So it don’t makes sense to maintain two versions.

Nice mod.........No more grass, bushes or trees popping in at all. Game is running nice and smoothly @ 200% scaling.

Also stuttering I’ve experienced before I changed my CPU from a Thredripper 2920X to a 7950x3D was mostly CPU bound. Even changing to a 4090 GPU hasn’t solved this.

But the DLSS mod is only aviable on his Homepage.

There is already a similar mod for ATS and I just wanted to make one for ETS. Using snowy moons DLSS mod helps in getting higher FPS because you only need 150% scaling to run the game without jaggies. 😊

Could you make this mod for ATS too because the grass and trees aren't very good either?

How are you getting 70Fps in this game? I have a very strong PC and I only get about 30s to 40s maybe 50sFps. In town 30s to upper 20s.

I am still looking into more ways improving the lod pop in further, but it could take some time to figure out.
