@islipaway Thank you very much, that's the best compliment you could pay. By day I am a 3d artist, but if not I would have studied history. I love the Medieval period especially,so when this game came out I loved it and played the hell out of it. When the contest came around I jumped in it because how cool would be to see something I designed? So every weapon I researched and tried to give the weapon a look that is authentic, and if mixed with the originals would blend right in.


Sadly none of the ones I made will make the next cut.

For what's it's worth the fact these aren't in game is cause of bemusement, especially when compared to some of the items that are in game. Yours are high quality, interesting and hitting a balance between authentic medieval/visually appealing that is missing from a lot of the accepted items.

If you like the weapons I made,please feel free to upvote and comment. Round 2 of weapon DLC is coming and I would love to see some of my submissions in game.I want to make more weapons for the game and all the community support is encouraging.


About me, I am both an avid student of Medieval history and I also clocked in over 200 hours of Chivalry, so every weapon ive made and will make will be intended to look historical and fitting with the games visual look.

I love this sword, both for its aesthetic characteristics and appeal and the historical background that went into its creation. A truly awesome version of the Messer, one of my favorite weapons.

@+C+ Cat 1099 sadly there doesn't seem to be enough time to do one more entry,the deadline is on the 6th. As for 3d programs, 3ds max,Maya or blender should do the trick.

Sadly someone pointed out that there was a helmet made for the MAA,which was exactly the Saracen helmet I wanted to make. So it didnt seem like it was worth the effort to make something that was already there
