as someone who hates modern smg4, this map is well detailed.

smg4 feels even more like a kids channel these days

completely valid, that's your opinion.
But I still prefer a modern SMG4 era with new characters, character development, story arcs, and still plenty of memey zaniness while carving its own path and identity over a classic era that commonly spouted slurs and used SA as the punchline half the time. Watching the "Freddy's Spaghettria" remaster they did last month was some insane whiplash and not in a good way.
(please don't turn this into a long debate i don't want to fill up the comments with discourse i just wanted to quickly throw my own opinion out there)

@The Geeky Gamer holy shoot the red bit by the stair rails was a guide i copy pasted from someone directing how I should shape the rails. I'll fix that real quick. And I'll get the theme tweaked a bit. Thanks for telling me!

I don't think I ever expected anyone to make significant SMG4 content for Rivals beyond throwing in some reference alts for Marios (such as the SMG4 alt for 64 Mario). Not sure what's up with the red bit on the left staircase rail, and the music unfortunately has that weird buildup before the melody starts, but this is great!
Now we just need playable SMG4 characters...
