I found out there's actually a weapon on the workshop with that sort of functionality. Search "handcuffs". You two should team up! ;)

Hmm, shouldn't be too hard to make this into something. You could just have players "attacked" by the "holding-handcuffs" swep remove all their weapons and give them only the "handcuffed" swep. I'm no coder, otherwise I would do it, but it doesn't seem that complex. Surely someone could do this.

This addon is considered outdated, it will be fixed one day, but that day is sadly not to day. I am very busy.

When i try to handcuff someone by left clicking it only makes a click noice and it does nothing to the player. :steamfacepalm:

If I remember correctly you should be able to just left click the item under the weapons menu and hit copy.. It should give you the ID or whatever.

Uh, i've been requested to port this over to the regular citizen hands & i'll try it at a later date when i'm not busy with school.. I only attempted it once with those hands & it was just a pain in the butt.

Well, what you or someone else could potentially do is code this to where if you use the handcuffs on a player, the player being cuffed automatically switches to the cuffed viewmodel and can't switch to any other weapon. I personally have no idea how to code that because it's out of my skill range, but I can imagine that it is indeed possible.
