If you can't buff the damage with DT then I would suggest a general damage buff. For instance royal release does very little damage considering how hard it is to build royal guard gauge. And maybe change the Ebony and Ivory direction input to a wheel, either that or make it come out a bit faster. I love this character but he's just very under powered compared to even the base characters.

I made the devil trigger super like maddog05 but i couldn't really make the damage increase, it's way harder than I thought to make so I gave it more of a defensive utility with a health regen and less damage taken with a speed boost.

you should add a 5 Bar special for devil trigger that lasts around 80-120 frames, maybe more, nothing fancy, just increased damage and mild health regen

So it's cool, I haven't played much with him but the main thing I've noticed is his gun moves are fairly under powered because it's hard directions instead of a wheel. I understand how that might break balancing, just because of the added combo potential, but if your opponent uses DI right that shouldn't be a huge problem. He also does VERY little damage, which isn't necessarily a problem, but it is the lowest damage I've seen so far. And as the dude below me said, I think a visual indicator for the styles and more variation depending on the styles would really make this a great character. I wanted to say a lot more but steam won't let me so I'll just say that I am watching your career with great interest.

This is a pretty good place to start for this character, though I personally feel that you should go absolutely ham on the stances having significant effect on individual moves. It'd be pretty easy to give a visual indicator for what stance this character is currently in, so attacks coming cheaply out of nowhere would be easily preventable. Really make him change it up, add some tricky movement to some of the attacks based on the stance, and you'll really have something here.
