As an alternative to character.AI, as far as I know, Janitor.AI is another free alternative, and as well has or is actively working to make their API accessible, unlike Character.ai, and Unlike character.AI the API is unfiltered, meaning there's no real chat restrictions either. all in all, it's essentially a superior version of Character.AI, and has compatibility with OpenAI from what i've looked into, though i'm pretty sure it has an open API in other forms as well. just food for thought.

while looking over the code i have noticed that the api key that it is fetching is wrong thats why the free version doesnt work, I will update the api

I say that because OpenAI requires you to pay and all the three alternatives I listed, as far as I am aware, are free. (Not sure if Groq is indefinitely free, but it does seem that way.)
