@avd2112 Tested, workd fine on Handheld Sonar.
Do note that mineral scanner of Handheld Sonar will not function in sub, which is default in vanilla game.

@iErr0r32 I don't think it would be a good idea to add tags to alien artifacts, because normally artifacts would not spawn except in salvage missions(unless you are using mods), and artifacts are not level resources, it would not function this way. As for the other question, some kind people has answered above.

it would be nice to add a tag (ore)to all alien artifacts and Rare Materials - (Dementonite, Fulgurium ,Incendium, Physicorium, Oxygenite, Sulphurite, Paralyxis) tag (light) like other ore.

Imagine what veganism would look like with this technology.
