if you want to use this and you already have Shared Destiny chosen, open the console and write activate_ascension_perk ap_shared_destiny so that it works.

@Northstar1989 I agree, being able to have only 2-3 vassals makes no sense to me either.
Though I personally use my other mod, just to have some balance.

Don't worry if it says that it's out of date, the changes it makes are small and will only break if Paradox changes the specific things I modded. So it should work even if it says it's outdated.
I update the target version when I notice it says outdated.

If it stops working, let me know.

Awesome. The vassal changes ruined the game for me, as I have Long Covid, and just CAN'T manage 40 planets myself (but the AI sucks, and only gets half its usual bonuses as a vassal to boot, so lots of tiny vassals is the ONLY way to get decent returns and insulate the AI planets from economically crashing each other...)

Please update this every now and then in the future- so when I update next (I keep on an old version for a year or more to actually make any progress in a save, with my low energy levels...) there will still be a current version of this eventually!

it currently shows as "wrong version" on my launcher. be sure to edit the descriptor file, change the version number from "3.12.*" to "v3.12.*". yes they added a "v" in front of the version number, really dumb if you ask me.

@enderdream I believe it won't work if the ascension perk and/or civics are already active.
You can edit the ascension perk out of the save.

It seems like it's still spelled wrong. It's named "goverments" instead of "governments". Missing an N after then r. Changing it fixed it.

I dont think I missedtyped it, they probably changed it. Pushing an update now.

I just found out, yes it does make a difference lol, renaming the folder using the correct spelling made the Feudal Society and Franchising Civic changes work as intended, I found out about this after wondering why only the ascension perk changes worked

you forgot the franchising civic for mega corp which also remove divided patronage before 3.10 and now only gives -1 divided patronage
