Sorry, but there is no vanilla way to give exactly a specific cassette. PZ only has two types of cassettes Home/Retail and their behavior is defined by metadata inside the item. The only way to change this is by via Lua script or modifying it through debug menu.

@SomeAsshat make sure there's mod.info in the 42 directory and the main mod directory

Keeps saying a mod.info file is missing even though there's clearly one in there.

@SomeAsshat Turns out the fix for getting this on b42 is pretty simple.

1. Make a new folder named "common", feel free to leave that empty.
2. Make a new folder named "42". Copy all files in there (do not move).
3. Modify the mod.info inside the 42 folder to include the line "versionMin=42.0.0"
4. Modify the lua file to remove all Recorded Media entries that are not the Shrek VHS tapes
5. Rename both lua files to recorded_media_shrek.lua (otherwise it'll overwrite all Vanilla tapes, but keeping the Vanilla tapes in the Lua file caused the game to crash on attempting to load)

I basically don't know anything about modding PZ, I sussed my way through making the B41 versions, and I don't know where the separate media file for B42 is, to me it looks like the file is exactly the same as B41's, in the same file location, with the same file name. Who'da thunk that the guy who wrote out the scripts of Shrek 1 and 2 for a video game is an idiot?

It's 14 January and yet no B42 Shrek. Game remains unplayable someone save us.

Hi, B42 is unplayable without this mod, it ruins the immersion knowing my character can't kick back and watch Shrek after putting the cows to bed. Pls update.
