I prefer shotgun and scattergun grip not being metal, but that family business is clean. Good job with a bare-bones warpaint that would probably be in high demand.

Plain metal does indeed look best

simple is usually best for TF2 so yeah just turning down the detail a bit, maybe make the texture details slightly more different between both textures and you're set

i experimented with different textures to replace the plain metal texture but plain metal texture looked the best

I do think the textures are a bit too detailed and busy, making them lighter and less cluttered would make this a lot better, would also recommend making said texture work a bit more different between the primary and secondary texture, as it stands they are a bit too similar and end up hurting the eyes a bit due to how busy they are.
