Yeah Unfortuantely when they moved from 1.0 to 2.0 they required more power. I usually kept them minimal power to upgrade later(or system upgrade boost). Energy was costly for a base ship blueprint so I always kept them a liiiitle low.

The Frameworks in the core are a welcome touch, allowing for mission-specific refinement, although most tend to be under-supplied on Power as-shipped

I've started using your ship designs in my current playthrough because I do NOT have the artistic patience to make a ship that is Not A Brick, and your designs are aesthetically cohesive, pleasing to look at, and mostly have good turret coverage (a few curveballs, like WFL Erudition needing all the guns facing down to be effective)

I always held off doing fighters/guns but yeah those could be easy/fun to play with.

You should design a WFL strikefighter/bomber/multirole Blueprints, would be fascinating to see where that goes!
