How can I restrict certain actions for players on the game server? For example, changing sirens.

The wheels stay turned now on Photon 2 cars, but previously the photon 1 cars wheels stayed turned as well. Any help on how to reverse that to the way it used to be? I believe photon 2's components were able to be used on 1, but now thats not the case.

Bro i keep trying to spawn my cruisers in and everytime i try to spawn a cruiser in it will spawn nothing in but make the spawning noise. I dont know whats conflicting with the cars but nothing works. the original photon vehicles work just fine for some reason.

Is it compatible with the Photon 1?

Whenever you open the Photon 2 menu and close it, you cannot move your camera around unless you restart the server since the game thinks the menu is open or something. Please fix unless I'm an idiot.

@schmal Ummm, i don't know. This happens with Simfphys cars mod, when i spawn a car and enter, when i press W the car just disappear and a dr.kleiner voice line can be heared like:
"Oh, fiddlesticks, What now?"

@extraguy72 try turning off subtractive rendering. That's the biggest difference in how lights are rendered in 2 versus 1.

@Annoying Bastard sorry. If you want to use Photon 2, you should subscribe to the "Starter Package" manually and the automatic downloads will stop. Otherwise you can disable the feature altogether with the command Creator mentioned. Or, it's also in the Photon 2 menu under the "Options" tab.

@Annoying Bastard It's downloading some required addons. If you want to disable it you can do ph2_enable_auto_download 0 in console

I'm having problem with the mod, every time I launch a map my screen freezes and goes pink error screen. I have disabled other mods that gave me errors and disabled Photon 1 assets and kept the photon 2 requirements, is there other things i need or don't need?

Are there any tutorial videos on how to make a Photon 2 vehicle? (Which would also include the set up for regular lighting and turn signals) Because I have an interest to make some, but have no idea how to.

@BOOTY EXECUTIONER this is currently possible by editing your vehicle file code. That said, I know very few people can do this, so this is a feature under consideration

@Neoba are you confident about this? I know all other government vehicles use XMT tags, but I have never actually seen WSP use it. Instead they just have "WSP" as part of the plate.

Just a minor inaccuracy, the Washington State Police Caprice should be using XMT plates rather than regular civilian plates. Very subtle detail.

Is the option of when you initially had the sirens on, it stays on after you exit the vehicle? If not can you please add that feature?
