I personally own every province in the Illiasburg region, I triple checked, and the provinces in the slug tower area. Unless there are 3 provinces that are far away, I didn't pan across the map when checking, I focused on the "illiasburg" region.

I wonder if the issue with the illiasburg region is because Slug Tower isn't part of the region, despite being part of the trade region? That'd be 3 more provinces.

Though, might be better to just check that all provinces in the region are owned by target or their subjects, instead of counting the number of provinces. Unless the number of provinces is less than the number in the region, that means that if you change the map later you don't need to go back and change the mission requirements.

Yo, progressed on my Kitsune village playthrough. I have all of the Illiasburg region, as requested in one of the final missions, but it demands 41 provinces when there's only 38. So uh ... well I can't get claims on the rest of the continent.

Would it be possible to add a magic system as well? Both the anbennar and warcraft mods have such a system so you could probably use theirs if they gave permission.

Might also suggest taking a look at how Anbennar handles liches. I love the flavor of the demon queen being a general, but making her one means that she's basically destined to die within the first 4 years of the game unless you savescum. It would be helpful if her death were bypassed if it happened too early.

Bit of a suggestion, but the trade regions, subcontinents, and charters are a tad mixed up in Ilias. Which can make things awkward if your capital is on the Ilias land subcontinent. Pornof Charter's split between two subcontinents, which is still managable, but there's a single 3 province state in the Iliasburg charter that's part of the Harpy Forest subcontinent. I think best practice is not to split trade regions across multiple subcontinents for this reason.

I'd suggest moving changing Slug Tower to be part of Ilias land. I'd also suggest dividing the existing Pornof and Happinness village trade nodes into 3 seperate trade nodes; a new "bee" trade node taking the bee states and coastline, Happiness Village Keeping everything else + adding Pornof's Harpy hills provinces. And Pornof being left with just the Ilias land provinces.

Yeah, just checked now, event "Alliance with Monster Lord" fires properly when ML presses their mission to ally Tamamo. It gives player a warning that deeper cooperation can lead to vassalization.

@FreeFormFire In principle mod is supposed to be played with all the DLCs. There might be some nations which use only some of DLCs features or could be played without them, but if we are talking about big mission trees... Yeah chances are you will need DLCs with certain mechanics.

@Lord_Farsight Not having an event is weird I will check it out. And yeah Monster Lord Education events happen every time new ruler comes to power.

@dekeche Number of ideas slots is increased because of abundance of racial ideas.

I got a notification for the formation of an alliance, but I don't recall any event pointing out the risks. Also, can the Demon Lord education events still happen ?

Are there any DLC recommendations/requirements? I ask because I was looking through Enrika's MT and saw that Peace and Tranquility requires raising Prosperity and Harmony, both of which are part of the Mandate of Heaven DLC.

Did you get an event explaining that deep cooperation with Monster Lord can lead to vassalization somewhere during your playthrough? It should fire in case of Tamamo after Monster Lord get more then 1500 development or during a second age.

I was playing Kitsune and got surprise-junior-union'd without any input on my part or prior warning. I can't say I enjoyed that. Especially since it ruined a war with a big Grand Noah that was actually going well.

Yeah, there was an issue with one of Slug Girl events not working properly. Have been fixed by now.

There seems to be some bugs with the Slug faction and its mission. Currently most (if not all) missions that trigger a mission, don't have a event with it to trigger. Meaning you get no reward and it wont actually finish the missions.

Honestly very good mod love the flavour honestly the only thing missing is focus trees. The only thing I do find a bit challenging is the fact that you go into massive Multiplayer type Hyper wars with the AI kinda of early into the game circa 1500s talking like armies sizing 300k vs 300k and that you can't take that many provinces before a coalition due to how high dev everythihg is Other than that love everything else.

Yeah was playing the whole November. There won't be events from part 3 aside from demo and early parts of 2 routes though due to them being spoilers.

I have a problem, I cant declare wars, because "- Primacy od Lamia Nuns" I am using other mods, so this might be a problem, but I could declear wars before, soo I dont know why I cant now (the confirm butto from when you chose casus belli is greay)

Loving this mod, so much attention to detail! hoe we get more monster related events. also seams kinda odd having wonders in uncolonized land, would love to get them but can never justify taking expansion or exploration ideas for a handful of provinces. maybe there could be another way to get them through event or decisions?

1. Well Apoptosis not knowing anything about the world is intentional because technically they are "otherworldly aliens" and some of them express the desire to go out of Tartarus to "explore the outside world" according to base game lines. Though just for those two I might add the discover maps event.
2. Those religions will have content later. I won't be touching them before Paradox Part 3 is released as I we don't know much lore about Alice I and Ilias faith structure in their respective worlds.

The new update is really good btw. Just two things I would like to say
1. I noticed a bug where when you use the apostosis_spawn events they spawn with zero land discovered, cuasing them to be unable to do anything since everything around them is terra inconita
2. I noticed that the two new religons that were added from the "uncovered the truth" event currently don't do anything, is this intentional, or are you planning on adding content for them later?

It's a fantastic base to work with, though it does need some extra flavor and balancing. A big issue I noticed is how all the military modifiers and abundance of mercs makes manpower nearly obsolete. It has its own charm, but it can get frustrating when a regional power can take 200k losses on the chin before 1500. The regional balkanization also could do with some extra features like more prebuilt forts and alliance blocs to mitigate earlygame steamrolling. If these issues can be fixed, then I think this mod would be stable enough to start working on some much-needed flavor.

As opposed to vanilla eu4 and most other mods where even small nations and some OPMs can survive well beyond the first era even without constant diplomatic manipulation, and even outside the HRE.
Other than the vast difference in difficulty between the different "species" the mod is really fun though and I enjoyed it immensely until suffering inevitable defeats that were foreshadowed for decades kept occurring in every run i wasn't the nation causing those defeats and lost my appetite for the mod. That said it shows a lot of promise and I hope my attempt at constructive criticism was helpful.

Seems really fun but very few nations are actually playable without suffering constant defeats or being extremely careful diplomatically. Most every region needs some serious balancing unless the intended gameplay is for the larger nations to invariably grow massive by slowly curbstomping everyone else. Which, given the mod emphasizing different types of monster girls, seems unintentional as it actively makes certain monster girls hell to play while making others a proverbial cake walk. Crisis and disasters for larger nations, as well as maybe even species/culture groups, would work wonders; because at the moment I have trouble surviving outside two hundred years without either starting as a world power or other strong nation, or ending up a partitioned vassal or non-entity.

Found a bug: When trying to check on ideas group, game crashes. Using Kitsune and kitsune ideas. Tried 2 different runs, happens at different date.
