for some reason whenever i spawn them and turn on ignore players, they just start shooting at the sky like there's a player/ally there.

it works but the npcs have to be in a strict idle mode and it would be cool if the medic would heal the combine in combat

(this addon replaces regular combine model woth extra skin, there's no need to decompile anything if you just want classic soldier with the medic skin. Just change the skin down to the third one)

Step 2: Find combine medic texture

Step 3: Replace with texture from this addon

Step 4: No more VJ base

Step 5: Profit

Step 6: Replace regular combine soldier texture for some reason

Step 7: Profit again

i belive medic shouldn't differ really from the regular soldier. It's the same soldier, but with a medkit and basic medical knowledge

I just think it looks nice. I still believe if valve made an official combine medic it would look different, like how half life survivor has one, though the half life survivor medic looks god awful.

i don't want to look selfish, but... our mod is the best take on the combine medic i've ever seen. This one is super simple and meanwhile neat. Other mods either have ugly gaudy textures, or shitty code that might work wrong or don't work at all. I wonder why this simple concept as combat medic is so unpopular
