EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY: All requests/issues/things of the like, should be directed to the Steam User: Nobility

Nobility is me, (the lead creator of this route), however, I have decided to create a new Steam Account for the sake of several factors.

my game still crashes near wilmington DE station with an out of memory error message how can I fix it?
yusenliu.henu 9 mei om 17:42
I really appreciate the authors efforts in making this route completed. This is probably the latest comments here, but I can say that there is no more crash in any part of the route, and you can use scenario mode to design your own. The view is fantastic and very detailed, which I think it's better than some of the DTG routes. Anyway, for people who wants to play this, feel free to install, there is no problem at all. Thank again to the great authors!!!

I never made a backup for this route to replace the Networks folder in the current version. Would it be possible to update the route for everybody with this fix? Sorry, I'm not a very techy person, so I'm not sure.

my game keeps crashing right before I get to the wilmington station how can I fix that?

I replaced the "Networks" folder with the one from the route back-up I made back in January 26, 2024 and the route is playable again through Philadelphia.

Ok, there's something very broken with the route because I'm getting a crash even with the route editor every time I go to Wilmington.
7FDL-16  [auteur] 5 feb om 18:27
I tried a standard scenario to Philadelphia and then to Washington DC and every time you get near Wilmington the game crashed with an "Out of Memory" error. The same thing happens with Quick Drive scenarios. There's something "broken" either with the scenery or the tracks/signaling causing the crash.
7FDL-16  [auteur] 2 feb om 19:25
FYI: I'm getting an "Out of Memory" error when approaching Wilmington, from Washington DC.

🩷I really love your project.🩷

Rammy, do not use the Workshop tab to open any items. They will scan and require things that are not actually required. I know of a scenario pack for York-Peterborough, the Metropolitan Line, and others that have caused this problem. One even required Hope Valley for some reason (the new Bedford-Leicester MML extension route that is now final with seven scenarios posted).

Either use the Career, Standard, Free Roam, or - in this case - Quick Drive tabs exclusively and do not ever use the Workshop tab. Or do what I do and extract all of your subscriptions manually and unsubscribe afterwards so your scenarios all appear on the same list of official scenarios by default. :steamhappy:
CaptainAce  [auteur] 13 mrt 2024 om 12:02
@Rammy It's Quick Drive only at the moment.
Rammy 11 mrt 2024 om 12:09
I Can't find this. it is in my Workshop listings but the drive button is not Highlighted when Selected i have all of the Dlc required Except Metropolitan Line but surely we don't need that. it is not in Standard or Career or free roam. can you help. Thank You.

Just made a trip on this, very well done for all you guys. Is this final or are you still working on it? I'm doing a little thing from Baltimore to Enola via York (realistic fiction) I really enjoy the trip. Some of the signals I had to press the TAB key to pass, but even I found the PRR signals to be troublesome. I can't wait to see what the community comes up with.

While I'm aware it's wip, what's there is pretty nice, however I've got a request. If it's possible could the spurs for the Port Road be extended, as they currently are they're too short for a full length freight train to start from.

@rsmith1225 The route from Richmond, VA to Washington DC in the Workshop: CSX RF&P Subdivision

UPDATE: Signal issues should be fixed now.
KW02 5 feb 2024 om 17:55
I've also experienced the signal thing north of Edgewood, at first I thought it was a problem on my end. I still love the project.
jmoonscope94 5 feb 2024 om 17:31
(cont...) Plus a lot of the houses near Chester TC look like single homes maybe off of the Miami-WBP route. If you can, try and find some brick row houses for these areas, which is what most of the housing there is like in real life. Finally there are a few signals going NB from just before Aberdeen to the Susquehanna bridge that display a red aspect, but when I hit tab, there was no clearance message. So I guess they're displaying a red aspect but act as clear? I don't know if that would mess with cab signals or not if you have them enabled. I didn't when I drove the route.

Other than the stuff I mentioned above which sounds like an easy fix, this route is a masterpiece. I'm gonna have a lot of fun with this.
jmoonscope94 5 feb 2024 om 17:31
(cont...) The only real gripes I have are with some scenery between Wilmington and Chester. I noticed a lot of really thick trees around Edgemoor, DE and the grass median in the middle of I495 looked a bit more like the Stevens Pass route. Also an abundance of trees around Marcus Hook station on the southbound side and along the tracks through Highland Ave and Chester. I live around this area in real life and the foliage is not anywhere near that thick. I think thinning out and removing some of those trees would look a lot better.

So I saw something about this route on the DTG forums and I figured I'd give it a try. I just finished a NB run from DC to Philly in the Reppo AEM7 with a Metroliner consist and WOW...this is awesome! I was picking out all kinds of landmarks along the way, the trackwork is superb, the stations and interlockings are all labeled nicely, and the QD templates work great. There are a few things like the stations looking kinda blank (such as Wilmington with no station building and clock tower) but hey, it's still a WIP and I'm eager to see more work done.
rsmith1225 4 feb 2024 om 15:38
@orioncentaury what route exists to get to richmond??
CaptainAce  [auteur] 27 jan 2024 om 20:30
PLEASE READ: If the game is still crashing on you, it means that you have not yet downloaded the updated version of the route through the Steam client. To fix this, exit the game and check to see if TSC has updated recently. If it has not updated, relaunch Steam and wait for it to download.

@orioncentaury Can you please accept my friend request? I want to discuss this further.

I just found a way to make the entire route playable. You need to fix the direction of the link arrows on the AWS markers from Washington DC to Baltimore Penn. station. The AWS markers are right on the tracks and look like green arrows, usually below a signal gantry. When you click on them, a cube with an arrow that has an orange tip shows (the link arrow), usually in two locations. While pressing the Shift key, click on the link arrow to change to the correct direction of travel for that signal. For example, if the signal is for northbound traffic, the link arrows should be pointing north, and vice versa. I just finish playing a standard scenario I made from Washington DC all the way to Philadelphia with intermediate stops. So far, no crashes. I hope this is helpful.

Thank you for the work. With this route now I'm able to run the Northeast Regional from Richmond, VA all the way to Boston.
KELLER 19 jan 2024 om 13:02
I just subscribed to the route and I can't find it in the quick drive or build sections of the menu and btw I do have all the required DLC for this route.

Is this the same D.C. to Phil project that CactusJuice previously worked on? Or is this a completely different D.C. to Phil by a different developer? Anyhow, finally great to see a full completion of the NEC available on Steam. Gonna try this out soon.

Just happened to see this while browsing the workshop. Downloaded and did a QD from Baltimore to Philly. Overall well done. The Baltimore and Philly urban areas are well modeled. Checked out some of the areas that I am familiar with and they look good as well (Havre de Grace, Martin Airport). Did notice that most of the yards are stub-ended. Not sure if you are planning to finish those or not, but a good job in my opinion.

finally have the full northeast corridor with this and the new haven-boston download along with the philly-nyc and nyc-new haven routes from the store... goat.
