mod is cool but for me the female apperance combined with male names and male voices is not right - i assume a voice over is to hard to do

If you have a problem with mod, don't download it, mods are optional, but it wont be taken down because you say so as many people enjoy it.

Can you put female voices from spies or heroes? its kinda odd when i click a general. Thanks, just saying what everyone else thinks.

how dos this work i mean i open it with PFM but i don't under stand how this mod changes the female charackters there where only two meshdefinations with female gernerals the rest was male

i would suggest taking script from warmaidens and female spys and applying them to effected generals so when you click on a general you don't see a woman yell " for glory" in a voice that makes her sound like she been chain smoking for her entire life.

Well yeah, that was the idea, but it turned out that whole ''Hellenic'' culture was modified..... Thus only Hellenic factions will have female leaders/generals, out of which Pontic faction will have the most.

Found it also replaces most Hellenic leaders (Athens, Sparta, Epirus, Syracuse, Pergamon, Rhodos, Cimmeria and Colchis) as well as about 75% of their generals with females. Not sure if intended or bug, since the mod only states it's Pontic generals.

Yeah you can change the names, its doable. Names in Rome II are randomly generated just as generals are so to do that for any faction you would have to change all names for specific culture i believe.
Besides i believe that most hellenic names(of the period) are unisex (to my ears anyway) other then Agammemnon and the like. But who has time, know how and will to do it, can chnge the names if they so wish.

@cniht Well....Reason they have male voices is that there are no female ones present in the game, only way to make female voices for female generals would be that i do voice over myself and that would end up being silly, not to mention that i don't even know if it is possible in the first place to add custom voices into the game.


@janboruta Actually that is a known ''issue''/side effect of messing with the tables. It worked like that in previous version of the game, it has nothing to do with patch 15+

One thing I did notice, restoring a legacy actually gives you a male general. :0)
Though these women got that baritone going in the voice department. Hillarious.

Hi! I'd like to ask, if you are going to update the mod at some point? While it's not incompatible with the current patch, it seems to be replacing all Hellenistic generals with females - even outside of Pontus. At least that's what is happening for me.

Nope , its a side effect, but not all hellenic states have them, they have both male and female now.....but yeah....all hellenic factions get female generals.

@Prkl8r , No because there are no female voices available in gme AT ALL other then agent voices. That should change with the Emperor edition if CA adds Cleopatra as they should (as a faction leader) then her voice could be used.

Other then that i thought about giving them my voice via recording software but i don't know how or even if that is doable.

So sadly, for now all generals have to use male voices :-/

Mod works 100%, i have tested it on campaign map, i may add pictures from in game later on :-)
