Typo found: ChallengeRescueShen line in MissionSources.ini is missing + sign at the beginning

find the missions and change the + into a -. it nontheless seems to be a mod conflict though as i have heard from several other people that they play it without issue. i have a suspicion it has something to do with dead units coming back to life. but yeah nothing i can do

How I disable the waterfront map?

I can say certainly it's not any other form of mods causing the chryssalid to endlessly spawn since in my own playthrough there's no mod that affects chryssalids.

@RoughLobster - Follow up to your previous question: are you per chance using the mod " Hive All Gone Feral " mod when you encountered this issue?

Unfortunately I have moved on in my campaign and don't have a save from that mission. I have put a ";" in front of the mission in the XComMissionDefs.ini hopefully I won't get it again. If I do I will try your solution and report back.

@roughlobster - does the console command killclosestunittocursor work when the entered while the cursor is on the unit?

If that doesn't work, RustyDios would likely have more answers has to what's going on with that missions logic.

yeah this specific map is giving problems and pyrrhic victories is not doing anything here. Glad you like the notmod nontheless

Excellent "notmod". Using 8-man squad by Rather Incoherent so this really changes things up.
I have found a bug on the waterfront map, neutralize all targets.
A Chryssalid keeps spawning endlessly so I can't complete the mission. I had to use the console command to evac out but failed the mission, using KillAllAIs didn't work.I am using Pyrrhic Victories. This has happen twice on the same map. I have not had any other bugs so far (+50 missions).
I use a few of your NotMods and they are great fun. Thanks.

Not super familiar with the TLE missions: were they the ones were it was usually 6v6 on average, a theme of 'squad Vs squad'?

if the countless people who put in negative ratings at least would be brave enough to give feedback why it is worthy of a negative rating that would be very kind and could maybe change notmods for the better. But alas the cowards stay in the shadows

in theory it should work mid-campaign. Several fellow players added it and they have experienced these missions

everything can be changed. but i don't think 6 xcom vs 6 aliens makes a fun mission

I like the idea of new mission types. But I do not want the limited squad size idea. Can it be changed or removed in the inis ? What I have seen so far the mod changes present mission squad size as well
( difficult retaliation mission for example, not a good idea)

can work for both ... the progression after FL20 needs to be done by DABFL, Evolution or similar things

Fantastic. Nice and easy to merge into DABFL and such. Is this built for a standard 20FL environment or a 100FL one? (Didn't mention in description :p )

yes mission family is what governs most of the things to get it in a campaign (AltMission, Activity for CI, dedicated config for SSP2)

Interesting idea. Does this roll the missions in via mission type/family?

If someone could open a discussion tab listing any issues with these missions not resolving their objectives properly, that would be very useful for all involved in diagnosing that issue globally :)

Looking forward to getting under the hood of this :)

Definitely going to try this out :steamthumbsup: I run the 8 man rebalance mod by Rather Incoherent, but to be able to do missions with different size squads sounds awesome. Hopefully everything will work 🙏🏽

in an incredible effort my team was able to make it compatible with TLP and TLE. Don't ask what wizardry they needed to apply
