Well, if that's the case, then it's a good thing, but people have already accused you of "stealing" the addon, although there's nothing wrong with modifying or adding to someone else's code. It's challenging to write something in Lua from scratch, so it's easier to modify someone else's work.

Original addon made by binary wolf had many bugs ( one of most annoying is when it attaches screen to your other guns ) and was not updated for a long time, so I wrote this one myself.

Ok i did everything on my side, now your turn
So type "infopnl_bone V_TauCannon_Ref"
and then try to pick offset and angle by yourself in infopnl_offset "0 0 0" infopnl_rotate "0 0 0"

Thankfully there is nothing malicious in the code. But as this is a copy of an existing add-on, it will most likely get taken down in the near future.

I suggest getting the original one as god knows what this person has put in the code. That is why, I am sacrificing my pc and check for any malicious code in it.

This mod already exists in a better form. For the record, I wouldn't trust this anyways as it seems to be a cheaply made copy, there have been virus scares in the gmod community before so I wouldn't put it past this guy to try something like that.

You got the tag wrong I'm pretty sure. The Maps tag is for Maps, not tools like this.
