you can get symbiosis through enhanced husks and the pod is the husk growth, the husk growth drops the head crab eggs to get symbiotic slime (put saline in it)

You may be able to get it from the symbiotic injection using enhanced husks but you should be able to get it the same way you do in the base game, through the church of the husk path

The problem of not being able to alleviate hunger is still there, and I tried to bite for a minute and the hunger bar still grows without alleviating it. (Maybe it's because I have Performance Fix enabled) (and I checked the console for the only mention of Enhanced Husks in yellow due to some of the drugs)

If you havent husk (R),Check where place this mod in mod list, i take it on first place and now i can eating whith (R)

the wiki is slowly being updated, to answer your question all it does is make it so when you are infected the husk will defend your body from monster and melee attacks

Oh yeah, make sure to use enhanced husks and have my mod be above neurotrauma and enhanced husks for it to work
