but try resources and housing mod, (which are just the 2 parts of beginner mod)
this is actually Housing mod (where straw and reed houses are cheaper, and all houses will repair sooner with less resources needed)
and Resources mod (where resources and food last longer before they are rotten)
In one Mod together.
How about you at least post what this mod does on here .. not feeling to go through all the troubles as for why my invite isnt accepted on discord

if you have them already then you need to unsuscribe, start the game, leaf the game and suscribe again.
i know that is ...... but at least this way they work.
so you may have to unsuscribe it and then suscribe to it again. si the newest version will be loaded (which should work)
you may need to re-suscribe this mod
food and other ressources last longer before rotten.
But you may have to start a new game. Don't know if it works with saves.
