I don't mean any disrespect and I really wish I could love this mod a lot more. The talent displayed here is one I can't even compare and I am in no way an authority of mods. I just wish I could enjoy this mod a lot more, but it's really hard to have fun against an fighter who can do seemingly everything with barely any counterplay.

- Back Air puts the opponent into way too much hitstun, making it very easy for it to KO coupled with its' large upward hitbox letting it land easily.
- The Neutral Special ring only not working on idle opponents makes recovering back to stage almost impossible thanks to its' wide radius and how safe Apollo tends to be, especially with Side Special.
- Down Smash comes out and ends so quickly that throwing it out barely has any downsides. Although it can't kill until higher percentages with good DI, his back air tends to finish the job.
- Neutral Special slowing his momentum in the air gives him way too much control with landing, coupled with how disjointed his aerials are as well as the small amount of endlag on those moves, and it becomes a challenge to contest him in the air.
- Down Special in the air can boost him up briefly when he's descending. It makes his already decent recovery even stronger and gives him a powerful disjoint in the air that can start Turnabout Mode.

Wish I could love this mod, cause the spritework is fantastic and the moveset is very unique on paper, but so much of Apollo's moves are too safe and a lot of his hitboxes cover so much of his body (Forward Air, Back Air, and Down Tilt especially makes it nearly impossible to contest against in neutral) to the point that he gets so much reward off very few risks.

I love everything about Apollo's move set! The only problem I have is that his upstrong quite literally takes forever to come out. And even then, it barely connects to the last, launching hitbox. Other from that, he's "FINE!" I also love his Bair animation.

I saw Edgeworth and I was like "Wow! Gee I sure wish someone would make Apollo too someday." and then I saw this directly afterwards.

Yes I see! Anyway love it - and finally I realized my dream - Pollo vs Luigi from Mario Hotel. Or fighting against the Shroob Princess from M&L. Truly a fantastic experience, I love this game and whoever make these mods! :D

@iKiwed Hello, we're glad you enjoyed the character!! And just replying about his Meteor Down Air attack, we based that on the same animation Apollo uses to slam the bench, so we sort of made an aerial version of that, which is why he hits the target with both hands

I love how Pollo works. It's more or less what I envisioned of him if he were in Smash.
Love the side smash, reference to AJ1.
The percieve mechanic makes the Turnabout Mode no-random and I like it! And I'm ok that it's overall less powerful than Phoenix's Turnabout, since Pollo is normally better in base attacks.
Maybe I'm not sure if he would down-meteor in the way is shown, but overall It fits well the character!

Good job. Also Love Apolo Justo, I'm Italian but even here we call him Il Pollo Giusto :steamhappy:
