i'm pretty sure that the magazine clips for all of the default survivors, as for the reload animations not playing sometimes, from what i know that's also just a bug in the game

Third person is kinda glitched like francis when he reloads the magazine clips through his hand and the third person reload animation for him doesn't work at times

I got an idea for Bill - make him homeless. Homeless veterans are kind of a serious issue in the US. You could even make him have a makeshift leg kinda like Eli. But that's just me throwing out ideas

i could probably try making his outfit a bit more "casual" i guess. the whole point of these reimagined characters was supposed to be like a "what if this character had a different role and/or was slightly changed to be a slightly different character" kinda thing, but i think it wouldn't hurt to be a little bit more lax.

as for zoey i was thinking more of making her some sort of nurse, based on some character concept art. the college theme for zoey has already been done methinks.

again i can't guarantee anything that i say.

I tried searching for anything related to his background... they all look the same as with his original outfit. I suppose you could make him similar to your INS:S outfit and make it seem like it's his military homecoming but instead he returned to a zombie apocalypse.

As for Zoey, the only thing I could think of is her being a college student.

now that i think about it i guess i could give him some sort of alternative outfit while still being a nam vet and without deviating too much from the l4d vibe, although i'm not 100% sure on how i would approach that.

to be honest i haven't really got anything for bill. at the moment i really can't come up with anything that would be lore-friendly and not too over the top. he's an old fart so him being a nam vet just... makes sense. i'm having a hard time imagining bill being anything else but a nam vet.
i *might* have something for zoey but i can't guarantee anything.
