1) 2nd set of blocks is a part of secret ending, you can find instruction to it if you pick the lock in the guy's workshop. You can find tension tool on the shelfs of this guy's workshop and lockpick itself if you solve the math on the fridge
2) When you use the oven sequence it opens one of upper drawers, where lies can of beans labeled "pet rock food" you can put that in the bowl

1.) is there something to the 2nd set of block slots on the bottom shelf in the parents room office side? i tried a number of combos, but didn't notice anything happening. ?
2.) am i missing something with the pet rock food? I used the oven hint sequence with and without finishing by opening oven (step 5), but no food appears in the bowl. maybe i needed to do it earlier?

Sorry that this happened to you! There is a set a photos in parents room, to complete the puzzle you must turn human photo to the picture on the wall nearby, then turn the cat photo so it looks away from the human photo, and then turn the dog photo away from the cat photo. Yes! If you phisically throw the present in the fire it will burn and give you it's burned version. Actually, there are a bunch of things that can be burnt if your inner arsonist wants it

is there a way to actually burn the present at the end?. Pretty sure making one of santas helpers go through all this trouble would put you squarely on the naughty list.

I'm super stuck on the dog dog/cat/human picture puzzle...i can't figure out the clue and I looked at the walkthrough hint and still couldn't get it. Any help?

Yeah, I think i spent more time on secrets than needed, which, in hindsight, is not so great idea xD. Also saw a typo in my good deeds commentary you must throw trash in the fire, idk why i called it "item" lol

I assumed breaking vases would be an option, and i did throw trash in a can, so now I know why I didn't get the nice point for that. I'm very intrigued about the pet rock food thing. And right, completely forgot about that lockpicking tutorial on tv!

The naughty things are

1) Using toy wood
2) Breaking a vase (it sometimes lags and doesn't count(()
3) Burning a toy in Santa's workshop
4) Wrapping the present in their most hated color - blue
5) Lockpicking the door in the guy's workshop (you can find tension tool in the workshop and the lockpick if you solve the math on the fridge.

There is also a secret ending, which can be acessed if you pick the locked door in the workshop and then doing puzzle there . In this ending you erase your name from the lists and get the cat named Mittens as present

So you can do 5 naughty things and 5 good things
The good things are

1) Using your own wood
2) Cleaning up Santa's workshop (honestly it's a bit badly implemented, because when you put the trash item in the trashcan it doesn't work so to get it you must either throw trash in the item or put all fireplace things like shovel on the special rack nearby)
3) Feeding the pet rock - in the kitchen there is secret sequence with drawers, if you use it you'll get pet rock food, which is in the living room
4) Doing da meth
5) You can wrap the present in their favourite color - red

Interesting room. I really like the idea of doing good/bad deeds to get on either nice or naughty list. But tbh I'm not excited about the room enough to replay it and check other options.
So you can use your own wood or the one in the house that's saved for toys. You can help the kid with math (you're welcome, best regards from Satan xD) or to get on a naughty list i should give incorrect answers? What else is needed to be done to get nice/naughty points?
