@nightlytea1 Sure, I would love that! I think the main things I'd like to focus on is how this submarine performs as a solo captain (with or without bots) versus a small party of three. I would also appreciate an honest critique one where you think it could be improved if anywhere.

P.S. The sub is based on a beaver :)

@Crusader_44 First things first, the way periscopes work in BT is that they ouput an angle depending on where your cursor is (POSITION_OUT), and this is what dictates the rotation of the gun.

The circuit creates a set of boundaries for both guns. Each boundary is composed of 2 MEM, 2 GRT and 1 AND. You can understand this as the top and bottom halves of the circuit if you look inside the circuit box. Both boundaries dictate the STATE of one relay though. Then the not just make sure the other relay is always in an opposite state.

One set of boundaries checks for if the POSITION_OUT is between two numbers. E.g.
Let 'X' rep. POSITION_OUT
Top boundary, MEM#1 = 240, MEM#2 = 300
Bottom boundary. MEM#3 = 60, MEM#4 = 120

TOP BOUNDARY: If 240<X<300, Output 1
BOTTOM BOUNDARY: if 60<X<120, Output 0

IMPORTANT NOTE: The AND components need to have blank false outputs. This is because if your POSITION_OUT does not meet the requirements of a boundary, it just won't bother switching the gun.

How does the wiring for swapping between the 2 guns work? I want to use something similar for my drone and I cant really figure it out.

@Zan Thanks for telling me, I updated the sub and tested the waypoints. Bots should be able to pull from the cabinet beside reactor now.

Trying this sub with a small crew in multiplayer as well and it's a nice little boat but I think bots can't figure out where the fuel rods are. When a bot is assigned to keeping the reactor onn they won't change the rods when they run out :/

@Kaizer what happened for the relay not being able to pass enough power to the medical fabricator? Its power consumption is at the default of 500kw and with upgrades should only go up to 575kw while the relay has a max power of 1000kw. Did you not see the lever beside the fabricators or was there an oversight?

Trying out this sub in multiplayer. The wiring bothers me. There's a junction box next to the power plant that just daisy chains to another junction box with nothing connected to it, so its just a deliberate point of failure. The power to the medical fabricator unnecessarily runs through a relay, bottle necking it so that it can't actually craft anything. It's pretty, but I had to rewire some things (I put the shock coils on a motion detector and just wired the depth charge to that spot on the console instead)

@La Frosty I'm didn't completely understand your explanation of what happened but I'll explain the circuit how I can. The way the navigation terminal-engine function works is the navigation terminal sends a signal from -100 to 100. So in the circuit, when you turn on the engine modifier, it is dividing that signal (-100 to 100) by whatever is stored in the memory component. By default, it is divided by 3, so you're getting a third of your maximum power. When you set it to 100, you got 1/100 of the max power. The point of the thrust modifier is for you to move slower so you create less noise. I only recommend inputting single digit numbers into the memory component.

@La Frosty There is a circuit box above the engine. To edit the modifier, you edit the number that is stored in the memory component.
