I'm sorry for the earlier comment! After looking into files I realized it's an issue with the other mod, not yours. they have a discrete list of beverages rather than point out a specific chemical. I just added yours to the list in my game. At any rate thanks for cool mod, it's one of my future must haves =)

Hey, great mod. I love the dwarven flavor and the new mushroom crops you added. However, I noticed the new ales and drinks don't count as alcohol for the "alcohol needed" precept from vanilla ideology expanded. I tried modding my game to make it so but I failed haha. Is it possible to add a toggle so that it counts? I want to make my dwarves constantly drunk haha

Around that size usually, yes. The high spawn amount is also to balance the rarity of the chunks, you should only get a chunk every 4 ores you mine. It shouldn't be because of the biome unless Helixien did something weird.

Hmm. It could possibly be because I spawned in the grasslands from regrowth (never played in it before, so I wonder if the biome makes ore spawn rarer). Though I did land on large hills and there is a lot of rock. How large are glimmerquartz vein deposits usually? The ones on my map are around 8-11. It might just be the biome

I did make it fairly common to assure addictions aren't too hard to deal with, it should be replacing rocks and not other ores though.

Hey, could you make it so the alcohols work with Vanilla Ideology Expanded - Memes and structures? theres an Alcohol: Demanded precept, but drinking shroom ale doesnt fit with the precept for some reason.

I'm not, unfortunately I heard the original author has moved on from modding so it seems I'll have to switch over to the unofficial 1.5 update.

Oh also, this mod is frankly utterly fantastic. I love how each drink or drug provides a unique but balanced effect that encourages their usage without going overboard and becoming too powerful.

Are you certain the SYR processor framework will be updated for 1.5? The last update was in 2022 and the mod author seems to have gone radio silent at least for the time being.

CE technically only adds melee crit and parry chance, so I would say if it's dmg, it should be ok. I'll prob play in a couple weeks from now, when mods are updated and shit and test it.

Not sure, the mod adds some drugs that alter melee damage so I just wanted to prevent any issues and no, oddly specific to make a setting to allow you to rename a drug.
