Doesn't work. I've subscribed to the mod, checked my data files in the launcher, made sure it was selected, waited for the mod to update, checked a forge, checked at the Riverwood inn, tried the console help command, and still can't find it.

Try typing:

help "Ryotetsurugi"

in the command line to find the weapon ID and then try the command

player.additem (weapon ID you found) 1

It must be really weird creating a katana for Skyrim. Because in real life, katanas were actually pretty lightweight and fast (If you were skilled), but Samurai, Ashigaru and other Japanese soldiers used them with two hands. It'd be really cool if somebody could add a new animation as well, since the Japanese had a special way of handling these swords; They didn't just swing them around like us westerners did :P

I'm not complaining or anything, this looks like a nice mod. I just thought I'd point a few things out :)

It has the same damage length as standard 2 hand weapons

i dont mind if its the same length as a blades sword. i think of this one as a normal katana but some what held correctly. you normally dont attack with a katana with one hand, its too heavy. but this mod. i like it.

separate question: The length of the sword, is that its actual length that will do damage or is there an invisible distance for the katana, since it looks shorter?

No, since all 2 handed weapons are sheathed on the player's back.

I checked and I have a Craftable Katana mod and a Two Handed Kantana mod....... I think the Kantans are both in the game, I just made the wrong one!

I'm not sure exactly what is causing it, so the only thing I can really suggest is seeing if you have any other mods that are intefering.

I found that happens sometimes after installing the Unlocked Grip mod, I don't know if you have that as well.

I did use a mod that puts the character into poses so you can take screenshots, so you can't wield it like that unfortuneatly.

My char is holding the nice sword like a normal Greatsword, did you use on the pictures a Mod or your rouge is wielding the Katana like a samurai?

I went to craft the weapon and all of the other steel craftable items are missing. It only showed the Ryotetsurugi

i had stollen the blades sword thinking it was two hand but then when i had my healing spell and it equiped i went "lolwut brah tis stinks" thx for making dis wuv u :3
