I have released a small patch that should have fixed identification-overlap so when this refresh happens it won't load the other tree.
If any further issues or problems arise feel free to report on it either here or in the Discord
I figured out what is going on with the localization breaking. The Main Mod changed the start of the game, so Mirkwood only has a few provinces with the rest being taken up by the spiders. If you beat back the invasion of Dol Goldur (the spiders being their fiefdom), Mirkwood takes over the whole of the region they originally had, with Dol Goldur being turned into a separate subnation under Mirkwood control.
When this occurs, it looks like it swaps the trees from mirkwood_old.txt to mirkwood.txt, which I'm guessing is the new tree you're working on? The far left branch is effectively gone in that tree. I love the new tree though and I'm excited to see what comes from it. :)
The Mirkwood descriptions were indeed empty. There is a localization file, though : mod/localisation/english/Mirkwood/mirkwood_l_english.yml
I have released a small patch to update the version number, fix a couple bugs, and i added some content for the most-left branch of the Mirkwood tree (as those are the new focuses), so they should have descriptions now. I will not add descriptions for the rest of the focuses of Mirkwood at this moment, because an expanded new tree is in the works that will replace all the focuses with exceptions of the far-left branch.
Also, love the work you've put into this.
Could this be because this submod is not up to date with the latest HOI4 patch?
I don't understand the principle, how are we suppose to puppet dol guldur ?
