hey are these skins working? :/ not sure if im doing something wrong but I cant seem to see any of these asiimov skins on my weapons

@countermung your not dumb at all m8 ^^. i Haven't done an AK47 yett.

However i'v added a new Makarov 2 the collection as it's skin got jumbled during an update.

Don't worry the AK 47 is on my list tho i'll be doing a weapon for the security forces next.

I'v added an AK 74 to the collection.

I'll be updating skins that don't work because of updates aswell as completing the collection.

@zuiq This will eventualy become a full set. However atm i don't have alot of time 2 spend on reskins, so progress might be a bit slow ^^.

@cry Try removing conflicting mods from your insurgency/custom folder also check the insurgency/custom/workshop folder.

I like the patttern but I think they all need a little more texture to them. I don't play CS:GO (I prefer Source) but from the screencaps I've seen the guns look a lot less cartoon-y. The way they are with no texture they kinda look like toys; little indication that there's supposed to be metal underneath it. Still, it's good work you've done so far with transfering the design at least. I might have a look to see if I can knick them up a bit to make it look more like paint on metal or at least plastic furniture and a vinyl wrap.

hmm do you use other mods? you can't have 2 mods for 1 rifle etc. Cause they should work . Also try restaring the game after subscribing. It allows the game 2 propperly apply the mods 2 the game files.

it's impossible for mods to be server side only in a client /server environment.. in other words they will never be server side only

yeah i guess forcing the download for every1 who enters your server might not be doable atm.
I'm quite sure there is no way 2 compress these mods as they have 2 be targa files when i turn em into vpk's.
Maybe when they allow the mods 2 be server side instead of client side.

I have this working now but you need to reduce your file sizes significantly for this to really be viable. In fact as time goes on I would suspect that steam will set a maximum size for collections.
