This mod is causing two issues. Either my characters go idle even when there is stuff to do or their clothing randomly disappears after washing.

Sound bug. When people take a shower, it sounds like when they change clothing but consistent with how long they stay in the shower. Anyone else getting this?

Is there a chance you could make the sinks have ownership assignments?
the shower and toilets do and it would be pretty useful to have the sinks able to as well.

Mmm, this mod seems to eat resources, I have observed this:
Salvaging Space Debris > (pop up: Scavaged 40 Scrap metal)
BUT, the person immediately went to (Need toilet) and made the scrap not even spawn.

I'm guessing they haul it, drop it to goto bathroom, and it ends up disappearing somewhere between salvaging > bathroom.

I'm only using your mods, water and hygine stuff [plus the unused benches not drawing power mod]

Are you able to help explain how the boilers work ? do they need to be in the same room ? same Building ? because all my baths are cold

I start a game and all my character are very sad (-20) about being dirty. :( I send them near the toilet and the hand-wash ... but ... they do nothing.

Hi, thanks for your mods. I like them.
I noticed something strange with the Hygiene mod though: Whenever I activate mod, I can't find any densely leaved plants aka chew roots to observe. Traders don't seem to offer it as technology either. When I use the cheat mod and its "unlock all buildings" option, I get all the plants including chew roots and can plant them, then research the planted chew roots. So they're not completely missing just for some reason they don't show up on maps.

Love the mod, but the bathtub doesn't benefit from the electric boiler. Survivors are taking a cold plunge every time they get in the tub!

Absolutely loved this mod! really appreciate the hard work!
However just encountered an annoying situation when I accidently placed the bathtub in the wrong place(placed the toilet and the sink in front) and when I want to move them around I simply cannot TUT tried all method but it is really bugging me, wondering if there is any fix to that

It would be cool if the Hygiene need would recover a bit if they are outside during Rain/Thunderstorm. Natures shower.
I imagine you could copy the code for how toxic ash pains you for being outside

Should be fixed now hopefully, including for already built showers and tubs.

I think I figured out what the problem is with showers and tubs for some of you people...
if those are built before any boiler survivors won't use them automatically not even after boilers are built...
I'm looking into the root cause of it and tying to find a fix; meanwhile can someone having the issue confirm this by building another tub/shower after the boilers?

Weird update: I started a different map (my old friend DOCTOR-BRUSH) and I haven't had this problem at all.

i got error on the hygiene mod too, i tried with all other of my installed mods, this is the one that cause error...

I was getting an error on one of your mods, but I was able to ignore it because it wasn't making any impact.

Now my survivors are getting "stuck" on the hand pump while washing. They will just keep washing and washing, non-stop.

Is this a known issue?

why caracters do not go into the shower automatically? they use water pump but never shower except if i tell them to do so...and i have all of your collection with maybe 10 furniture, Caracters and others mod...

The showers are actually fine after closer look. Though characters need to have almost 0 hygiene, if they autonomously bathe then that could work for me. I have your entire water collection and some others. Thank you for your interesting mods.

I just started a new game built a room with boilers, showers and tubs and everything seems to work just fine.
I used cheats to research everything and give me some resources but that should not influence anything on the behavior. I'll test with project x too asap.

I would need to see some logs or a save. You may try to send them to me or look in the logs and if you see some errors related to any of the water mods post those here

I do have "wash in lakes" off apparently. I only got the mod last week in the first place.

Spad: The option has to be unticked in individual survivors behaviour tab, where you set them to not eat raw food etc. Also, when updating this mod, make sure to unsubscribe and then resubscribe. When Lukeh first updated this mod, mine for whatever reason did not automatically update.

Please check. Survivors indeed do not automatically use the showers. I have to constantly check hygiene and manually ask them to shower, otherwise they'll stay at 0 hygiene (when pump is removed and wash in lakes unticked).

Convert, how do you turn off "wash in lakes"?

Rave, Ive extensively tested this mod after every update and it seems to be working fine with my 19 mod collection. You can take a look at my mods used in converts picks in mod collections. Any mods not listed in mine list may be a culprit.

Sometimes after loading a save, survivors stop using baths and pumps.
Maybe something with updating mods?

It's a great mod but unless I playing without stops, it's too buggy.

@convert - we don't really care that it works in your save. In ours it isn't.
I've tried mix of turning off some mods from the collection, but it doesn't worked either.

I have the same problem as Rave Hawk, to the letter.

New playthrough, 19 mods, everything working fine. FYI Lukeh.
11 survivors, all used the pump/lake to wash in and they all switched to baths/showers once built. 3 showers, 2 baths. Still kept the pump and moved it next to my brewery where it is used for water to make ale. No one uses it to wash.

I'm new to this game, so I have only 2 saves. Never played without mods or without hygiene.

How can I send you my saves?

The survivors will use the pump. However, when I build showers and a water heater, they will avoid the showers and still use the pump. If I dismantle the pump, then, I have to micro-manage them to shower or else they'll stay at -20 hygiene and then suffer a breakdown. I just started a new game yesterday. Will see if the behavior continues and will report back later.

Hmm... are you saying they don't use the showers by themselves even if there's no pump?
Is this in a game where it worked and because of an update you suspect it went wrong or also in a new game or you just got the mod and never worked for you?
Can you maybe send me a log and/or a save game?

I second 'Rave Hawk'. Survivors will not use the showers unless directed to do so. However, they will shower at the outside water pump (if it's still built). Even in the dead of winter, they will defer to the outside water pump, and avoid showers completely. Normally I dismantle the outside water pumps after building the showers/water heaters, and then, I have to manually track survivors hygiene, and direct them to shower once they hit -20 hygiene (or they'll experience breakdown). I have electric boiler built next to the shower. I also tried non electric boiler and bath, but it doesn't work either.
I didn't knew that I can manually order them do use shower or bath, I will try to do this, but it doesn't solve the problem
