The exploding part needs to go but other than that it's perfectly fine.

I like this, but the exploding is a bit much. I like this as a sort of cousin to the burning flames, but I think the exploding outward isn't really needed. If it was just charred flames I'd love this in game.

@TheGhostThatWas one is where the scout is just standing is how the effect acts when the merc just stands, where the other one is how the effect acts when u move.
