@farsight I can confirm that the heavy magelock for me has 60% accuracy but is repeating for both hero and unit.

@Farsight sorry to bother but hero's magelock still 60%accuracy & no repeat , unit magelock still 60% accuracy but reapeat attack (moved the mod at the top of the list but still no luck). Did you correctly upload the update? in the upper section the last update date back to november 5

@Okami and GeraldoDellaRiviera, Hero's Magelock is now Repeating and All magelocks now has 90% Accuracy (Magelock got nerfed to 60% Accuracy).

Hero's magelock is single target,doesnt automatically mark the enemy & hit chance is completely broken ( must be within 2 tiles from the enemy to get around 60% hit chance )

Fixed the issue where Magelock lost the ability to shoot (The update added the Breaching effect to Magelock which broke the mod).

I think there's something wrong with this mod. Whenever I try to use this mod (by itself even), the Magelock loses all abilities except 'move' and 'defense mode'. It no longer has its attack ability.

weird interaction but breaks engraving of focus when i use it, doesnt grant focused aggression to anything.

@Stepover: Agreed, it feels weird. Maybe let them have an alternate attack mode alongside their current ones? Basically the ability to Reload one turn and then Fire the next turn, both using just one AP. So, they deal the most damage if they can stay still and shoot, but they can also do some damage in the next turn if they need to move.

Alternatively, give them a light 1 AP attack that deals less damage but allows them to still damage enemies, in addition to their full AP attack.

could you make an alternative mod that makes magelocks and magelock cannons have either single action or take 2 action points to attack. As much as magelocks suck, i feel that repeating kinda ruins the feel of them.

It looks like the units are still using their base damage with the repeating attacks rather than the rebalanced damage you show in the pictures above.

@Furin, Magelock's Take Aim ability is now integrated into Fire Heavy Magelock ability. Fire Heavy Magelock ability will now automatically marked the enemy.

Honestly if they were able to shoot while pinned they would be fine. You lose the ability to move and shoot but gain point blank fire.

@Ran no idea why people think the magelocks need a buff, they do great. They are a finisher unit, and serve the role very well. Granted being able to only move and mark, or shoot makes them kind of a boring unit that gets replaced with a cannon as soon as possible. but they aren't exactly a useless unit. I think a good compromise would be either move and shoot, move and mark, or don't move and mark and shoot. The idea of rapid firing flintlocks is ridiculous and takes all the flavor out of the unit. You might as well just go with gladerunners and forget about the magelocks all together.

I have a suggestion. Why not give them a second ability 'aimed shot' that does damage and also inflicts marked (or bypasses some armor I dunno, whatever is easier to implement). So it would just turn the abilities around. A quick run to shot and an aimed shot that takes all turn. Like they are now they are cool, but only 1 ability ;/

Also the cannon could keep current behavior but needs a buff to its damage or its aoe imo. Maybe it could have a cone shaped aoe.

I agree the magelock units really needed a buff but i feel making them multi attack isn't it. I think making them single action =1 shot would be better. For take aim ability rather than removing could be made a free action with a long cooldown IMO.

While I agree with the normal magelocks gaining multi-attack, but wouldn't it be more realistic for the cannon to keep the single shot mode and just up it's damage to around 30-40? That way you don't just end up with two incredibly similar style range units with middling effects.
