The tier was taken deliberately for what it was: the upgradeability of the sub rather than whatever restrictive thematic convention the devs decided to try to recommend. Since I created this sub with the express intent to play on it from end to end and with pubbies in mind, I set it up so that nobody was forced to go mechanic to upgrade further and so that no restructuring of inventory had to be performed from purchasing subs. In an attempt to counterbalance, I popped out the rear guns, requiring them to be purchased rather than comfortably starting with full coverage. Based on playtests this principle might potentially be applied even further in future iterations.

Kind of interesting. Not bad for a first attempt at a vanilla sub. A tier 3 should technically cost more. Served on it briefly but all the wires were locked so I couldn't really look under the hood.
