this pattern is clearly inspired by art deco.... i recommend using gold metal and dark wood or dark marble for the color scheme. Art deco will fit perfectly in tf2 (despite the fact it's bit older and more for fancy stuff. when tf2 style is more 50-60 industrial america)

Colour schemes not doing it for me. Green and purple tend to contrast pretty heavily with the team colours in game
