No Cancelled Schemes for Changeling

For anyone looking at this thread trying to stop the Imrik/Knights of Caledor mission from being cancelled because you want the brilliant Corrupted Flame item reward, I can tell you that with no mods active, this mission is cancelled somewhere between 10 and 15 turns into the campaign and Knights of Caledor are still alive! I know this because I basically force marched Changeling from turn 1 towards Knights of Caledor. While I was making the journey the mission was cancelled. When I reached their territory, they were still there. The mission is broken and I suspect relates to Imrik's army being defeated because he was nowhere to be seen.

It works fine for me so any issue is likely caused by another mod

@DarkthShadow Just tried it, and it looks like with the current version of the game, it generates a separate set of schemes that are still able to be completed, but the list only shows all of the original ones, which are all listed as canceled :steamsad:

This (usually?) means: No, it is not save game compatible.

doesn't work for the naval blockade or loot the pyramids schemes. These have been documented as bugged for 9 months, how has no one fixed this yet

The main reason some of the schemes fail is because they are impossible to complete. This usually happens when you have to destroy a certain faction to complete it (Grombrindle's faction comes to mind). If that faction dies, you fail the scheme. It's frustrating.

@Javik The Witchwood one is bugged without the mod. I came here looking for a bugfix for this particular scheme as my game crashes when I sack the witchwood.

sacking the witchwood crashes my game with this on which is sad cause that is probably the best out of all the scheme buffs (+10 piercing damage to all units)

Yes, it's still needed. I've updated and used it for several changeling campaigns.

If they didn't update anything about Changeling scheme in new update, then it might still helpful.
I have not play TW for a while, so some bit of hard to track it.

Not save compatible, and the current campaign has been a pain... I'll try this mod out next time.

Even after 4.2, schemes still get cancelled randomly... is this mod save compatible?

I'm still seeing schemes get canceled without a good reason. For example the Cathay Naval Blockade scheme was canceled despite having more than 7 settlements still existing on the map, not even razed yet.
Not sure if that's something a mod can fix or CA has to, but I'm hoping this does reduce the other Scheme cancelations.

Thank you for adjusting the scripts. However, you need to rename "mission_text__.loc" - because it overrides the data file and all other mission objectives are gone.

Thanks for clarifying why those missions get cancelled! I'd been assuming there was some sort of timer that randomly activates. I'd never seen one cancel while I was in that theatre so I also assumed it was deactivating schemes where I was inactive.
