whats the point of adding all the fishing? are there like ultra rare ultra powerful items?

well i was looking for a mod to make fishing less tedious this mod seams like it would do just that and i was wanting to keep from adding alot of other things but thanks for the responce

@Blue Phoenix Well, the progression of fishing rods is independent of the other accessories and upgrades, perhaps just ignoring the other items? Since a separate version of the fishing rod mod would be unnecessary, or feel free to comment on what you don't like so I can get some ideas.

@Adrian The Master Fisherman reforge is designed with maximum rarity, so it is very unlikely to come out, you will have to spend a good amount of platinum or be very lucky.

I'm having an issue with getting the reforges from this mod. When I go to the goblin tinkerer and I go to reforge, I try hundreds of times to get master fisherman to maximize my fishing power but I can't get them for some reason. I've already messed with the config so I have enable reforges on for both the client, and the server, but still no luck. Please help me.

The damage reduction effect of the Warding Nautical Shield is implemented incorrectly. Instead of increasing damage reduction by 15%, it sets damage reduction to 15%, causing conflicts with other damage reduction effects such as potions.

When simultaneously wearing the Warding Nautical Shield (-15%) and the Warding Worm Scarf (-17%), if the Warding Nautical Shield is placed in a higher slot of the accessory menu, the total damage reduction becomes 32%. However, if the Warding Nautical Shield is placed in a lower slot, the total damage reduction is only 15%.

@aoioiobit I don't know what you mean by new life, but yes, you can add the mod at any time during the game. There is content that is unlocked with your vanilla progression. There would be no problem if the mod is added halfway through your progress.

@らど Now that you mention it, the achievements were created to be secret and because there are only 4 achievements I didn't see the need to include them in the achievements menu and due to the little time my job leaves me I haven't been able to work on new updates.

The localization file includes entries for achievements, but it seems like the required Achievement Mod isn't working with the current version.

Is there any other way to view or track achievements in-game?

(I'm planning to play this soon!)

@TwelveYO Well, you can fish the pillar fragments with the corresponding baits and you can only do this during the pillar event (it doesn't work with monoliths)

I did it! I obtained all the fishing rods and accessories!
(I gave up on the trophies because I was a bit short on time)

this mod, before hard mode it complements the few fishing rods in between and helps to keep fishing going.
on the other hand, the post-hard fishing rod is a bit too overpowered, but it saves me a lot of time looting materials.
this is a mod that I would alltimes like to installing. Thank you.

I don't think there is any advantage to fishing while avoiding the Pillar's army.

@TwelveYO Sorry about that, but I just checked the issue and everything seems fine. Sharks drop the accessories. Are you sure you're doing this after Hardmode? Or are you using some other mod that changes the vanilla mob behavior?

Shark Fin Grip and Shark Teeth do not drop.
I noticed this after hunting 300 sharks and they are not listed in Bestiary!

Anyone know the best accessories and armor? right now im rocking Stardust Earring, angler pants and vest, angler tackle box, angler earring, glowing fishing bobber, celestial fish, nautical shield, fishing master equipment, and lastly the life ocean fish necklace

Probably you need Auric Bar to craft it, is the same thing for other mods like "More Zenith Weapons".

Hi, Just wanted to let you know that I farmed all the 19 rods, I am using calamity mod and in terms of progression I'm about to beat the devourer of Gods. I can't craft the Zenith rod from either the crimson altar or the ancient manipulator. Care to help me ? Thanks !

Can we remove one of the synthetic formulas from the phone, as I don't know how to obtain that accessory and can't find its way

@Sirpikmin9000 It should work with calamity, several comments about having problems with my mod in calamity are due to the reforging issue, which is solved by disabling an option in the calamity configuration that removes the Vanilla RNG.

@Starfall Leyline The Fish Voodoo Doll does increase the max number of minions by 2, it's a translation error of mine in the English description.

@MisterKuaker - One quick note. The Fish Voodoo Doll states it increases the max number of minions by 1, but when equipping it, it actually gives me two slots :) The Sun/Moon and Celestial fish also give 2 slots, just in case that wasn't intended.

The Ring Fish only adds 1 slot, as stated in its description.
