RICE just got updated to 1.18. Playing with your mods made a huge difference for my performance, so i hope you find the time to update this is as well. And if you could make a version that includes africa that would just be amazing!

Could you fix the Zunbil? In vanilla + RICE he's independent and the only zunist in the game but here he's just a muslim and a vassal.
There's also the small Peristani faith around the region that isn't here, RICE marks one character of that faith "Azur Jamshid Kayani, Marzoban (Count) of Gilgit" as a character of interest on their wiki.
Other than that the patch is fantastic.

Is it not working? I don't really see any changes in recent RICE update that would require anything on my part, so I don't even know what I can update here. It should be working fine I think, but if there are any issues please do report them here.

@Starmender yes, quite a bit, game runs fine without Smaller World mods, and crashes with it, so I've asumed it most probably is something about this mod.

Both CK3 and RICE has not been updated in a while, so that shouldn't be the case. Are you using any other mods?

It seems that it is no longer compatible, as game crashes within first week.

No update needed, as far as I can tell. As for Akan characters, I still don't know what might be causing it. I looked through all the RICE files and I just don't see anything. Is it some specific events or just any random ones?

Glad to see that Ooni bug is fixed.

Also RICE has been updated. Also I asked the RICE dev about Akan culture in events bug and he said to wait until to the new update of the mod. I'm unsure if its similar to "ooni" bug where this compatibility is missing few stuff or base RICE needs to be updated.

Hopefully that bug will also be fixed once you update this mod for RICE.

This mod is very well. Thank you. But, I found a bug that my heir's title is displayed "Ooni ". I found this is african religious leader's title of RICE. I think there is some errors of compatibility. Please check these.

However, my game still crashes even with the SWM RICE compatibility mod. Is it just me? The game works fine without SWM, so I am assuming there is still a compatibility issue.

I think it should be compatible, or at least I don't see why it wouldn't be. So either it is, or if it's not, then I don't know how to fix it.

Updated again. Removed pretty much everything related to Sri Lanka this time.

@timotheus not sure what to do about OOS in MP, I feel like that shouldn't happen as long as everyone is on the same mod version, regardless of actual content of the mod.

Seems that oos is happening now in mp games because of the update. Error log files are filled with sri lanka stuff. Darn.

Can't say for sure. I have deleted all the historical Buddhist characters and all the Sri Lanka events, but I don't know if it covers everything or if there are other sources.
