yeah this is MOSTLY working (dont use the web spell), but yes, there is a spell for summoning ice spiders

oh damn, well it was the spell that spiders used in the 1.0 version, the AoE distant spell instead of the 3wide2long short range spell it is now, if they removed it... that's annoying, i will take a look at it when i can

I can verify that casting the spider web spell crashes the game

i have no flippin idea, probably, if they havent changed anything with modding it should work fine, you can always try and tell me if there are any bugs

yeah sorry the adding ranks broke ever since last update, had to do that using scripts which doesnt work for spider cavalry

when looking at the spider den it shows them as adding "blank" ranks

I'm not entirely sure how you implement it, but really all I would like to see is that the Ice Spider summon requires a Tier 1 wizard tower to be able to summon it, just like other Tier 2 summons.

I personally would like it, as it would match with the vanilla game. But don't feel you have to; you are the one who is managing the mod after all.

I had a question. Is it intentional that the Ice Spider summon doesn't require a level 1 Wizard Tower like most other summons of its tier in the game?

It seems that during the last update this mod was uploaded incorrectly: there are no files in it, only folders (even acp is absent).

I suppose it's also possible that it's Steam playing tricks on me, but I tried unsubscribing/subscribing multiple times, and it even downloads something each time.

so far I am unable to fix it fully, either I can try to work it out with uncertain result, or I can apply the buff to only directly spider units, not spider mounted units

I have not played in a while, so if you find any errors, I would be very happy to fix, or rebalance if there is an issue in a new DLC, so keep me updated to I can keep this updated :D

For what it's worth this mod is working fine for me. The only mod Tomes I've found that conflict with the update are ones that add racial units.

I can understand not making new tomes or units though so no worries there my friend, but I do hope you update the mod, love what it does bring to the game and it's fairly balanced overall

I'm very sorry everyone, I could not get into Maya, it takes way too much time to do anything in it with my current skillset, therefore any new units would have to be supplied by someone else. Therefore new tomes are postponed indefinitely

Something I think would be really cool is have a province improvment similar to the new Fey Water Pond from Tome of Fey Mists where it gives an effect to all provinces linked to a town. But instead of mists this one creates webs. Perhaps it could slow enemies on the world map and cause webs to appear in tactical combat.

You can display it in the encyclopedia by assigning a tag, which can be found in the last item of Tome basic definition (type:AoW Skill Grid: Group). After clicking on the square, it will be blank. Right-click add to open Tag_Seletor and select the appropriate type in TomeOfWonder.
