Thank you.

This mod has inspired me to finally make a heavy armor character. Very well thought out, I enjoy it!
@SMURG: It depends on the perk. All the requirements are as were before, I just added the extra benefit of the deflection chance. Conditioning and Fists Of Steel I believe are not dependant upon having a full set of heavy, so you will get the bonus by wearing any heavy armor (not neccessarily a full set, though must be gloves in the fists of steel perk).

So yeah, I think if I'm right that you can get a 5% deflection chance from wearing just a helmet, a 10% with gloves as well, 50% for full suit.
Are the cumulative 5% deflection chances dependent on wearing a full set of armour? If not, that's pretty cool since it means you can still get some deflection whilst wearing a head-slot item like the Aetherial Crown, whereas before you had to forego most of the remotely decent heavy armour perks because you weren't able to wear a complete set and keep the crown.

@sromshek: Thanks dude. I guess now you have the choice for either light armour that you can move fast and sneak in, or heavy armour for fighting face to face.
Grey Wolf Jack 2014
@sromshek You think? I always thought light armor was impractical. I'm glad to hear there are people out there who actually use light armor. I like diversity.
I truly like your idea here.Heavy armor hasn't really been practicle even in oblivion.

@ [►] Djerůn Like Assassin's Creed jumping down from things? lol, but anyway ik. I jump down from things too. Sometimes it's from both basic falls that take damage to height like top of Dragonsreach.
@deadarmour It would make sense for those armor pieces that have fur inlay etc. that does actually keep out the cold, keep away the heat and doesn't conduct electricity so theoretically the perk could teach you to wear the full metal armors so they give a chace of fully ignoring shock damage (since there's no chain connections it would not work all the time and would be imbalanced) and keep the inlayed armors like they are now and do nothing for non-inlayed armor that isn't properly interconnected but that would be a lot of work, irritate people using armor model replacers and whatever default you chose for armor from mods would be the wrong for one or the other mod. I don't mind the way the way it is now but I was already thinking about modifying that particular perk back to lowering fall damage, because I tend to jump down from things

@deadarmour if you had a full suit covering the whole body being properly connected it would work, but that"s rather hard to accomplish with plate armor, whit chainmail it works since you need no special connections between the moving parts (people are using full chainmail suits to play with tesla coils).
@ [►] Djerůn: Ha, yeah. I don't know if a suit of armour might protect against electricity like a car chassis, by giving a more easily conductive route the ground (I doubt it, probably just get fried), but it was more about giving heavy armour some kind of very minor buff to defenses that makes it slightly more viable in a melee against casters. I reckon it would give some initial protection against environmental cold though, as you get really hot (until the sweat evaporating cooled down).
@Deadarmour on the other hand metal conducts cold, heat and electricity pretty good
@Nathan Kraats: Thanks dude. Yeah, makes sense I guess cus more layers of clothing make you warmer.
Nathan Kraats 2014
The theory is sound, I've always disliked the vanilla heavy armour tree and I've only ever gone up the right-hand branch of it. Subscribing now, looks like a great idea with appropriate balance. Cushioned should even help Frostfall survival with a frost restance. :D

Atola if any of us tried to explain to you why good modders on the workshop don't make cheat armor you might die from a brain fart.
@Atola so you can jump down from th e throat of the world hit the ground with an impact that would rip the armor apart and be all fine?
Atola 2014
yea, the armor cap makes most heavy armour perks useless. This is one tree that after you get smithing up and have bone armor you legend it and only put one point into Juggernaut! I think if possible cushioned changed to 100% damage reduction to falling whould have been better, and no longer useless. Thats would just be like having the etheral shout on all the time with respect to falling damage (so not overpowerd). I'm a big fan of the conditioning change though. Made for all the right reasons!

Have to say, it is a pretty cool remake. I'll definitely try it out in a moment.
