I think most people would be pleased if you unzipped Hale's jacket. The clothes look cool but I think most people agree that Saxton wouldn't obscure his chest. It just makes no sense with his character. (Besides I think an unzipped jacket would look even cooler, it's the best of both worlds)

I really hope that if VSH keeps getting support update by update, it'll be able to survive even in the "misc gamemodes" category.

Even though I really like the Saxton's clothing (his jacket design, pants, gloves, etc.), yeah, I gotta agree, it's not really in-character for Saxton Hale. I just really like Winter clothing, that's all.

Hopefully more VSH maps are added to the game. I just don't know if Valve will keep them alongside the rest. They just take off all Winter maps once the event ends, and I don't know if they would make an exception for holiday-themed VSH maps.

The only drawback that spoils the impression is the presence of Saxton Hale's jacket, it would be very cool and historically reliable if it were, at least, unbuttoned, and so, I really hope that this map will be added to the game in the upcoming update

Man I really dont like how most of the comments in any v script mode are either people complaining that others dont like the gamemode or "UHH U are only saying that because [insert tf2tuber giving his opinion about the gamemode]".

Like for the love of god cant we have a normal discussion about this?? it is too difficult to RESPECT other people's opinions on this? hell I would argue devs also need to heard those kind of comments in other to fix stuff.

My only main gripe is that this specific game mode is not community accessible. This is a plea to the creators to please allow this game mode to be utilized for the public. There are a lot of creative minds and creators who can expand more on this game mode and allow for more maps to be developed for it, it's a great game mode and developed by a great team, but I would like to see a variety in how it is handled as well. I would hate for this game mode to die in legal disputes like mannpower/passtime.

As neat as it looks, there is an incredibly blatant flaw here:

I combed through every single comic, as well as his comic front pages. In all of those, there are only four places where Hale wears anything akin to a shirt above his shorts:
On Hale Comic cover 4, Hale is wearing a barbershop gown
In A Fate Worse Than Chess, Hale (undercover as a hippie) wears a shirt with his Mannly chest still exposed.
In Unhappy Returns, Hale wears a shirt in the flashback. Like above, his Mannly chest is still exposed at all times.
During a second flashback in Unhappy Returns, Hale is wearing a barely fitting white shirt as part of his funeral outfit at Maggie's husband's funeral.

I'm not sayin throw out the work, but his chest absolutely needs to be exposed. Unzip that jacket.

The map looks great however as a lot have pointed out, Saxton wearing a shirt isn't really lore friendly (lmao). Officially, Saxton's Smissmas look is essentially his regular appearance with a Santa hat adorned with crocodile teeth. He also had an alternate look during the Australian Christmas event where he wore red gloves, and another where the hair on his chest was cut to look like a Christmas tree. This is only a suggestion but I think it would be nice to see some of this existing Valve material incorporated into the design.
