I played this with my friend watching I think its safe to say we both jumped out of our chairs

yeah the checkpoint system is horrible but when I tried implementing it the intruder was running backwards at 2x speed through the doors

Only issue with the map is that one life is kinda dumb. having to restart from the beginning just to get to the same point as before is needless and drains the scariness from the map

how are you supposed to beat it as soon as i wake up from the bed and go downstairs he already breaks in leaving you NO time to react and the A.I is like faster that your person.

This is a very fun map, not particularly scary. For those who are timid, I highly recommend playing it

9/10 because of no multiplayer.

This map I will give an honest 7/10. The setting of the map is pretty nice. I love how there is outside life out of the windows. The ambiance has some feeling to it except that annoying boiler thingy next to the door of the basement. The custom added sound effects is pretty cool. The fridge scared the crap out of me when I first interacted with it. The monster and the map gives me a lot of reference to the "Break In" horror map by Alexscott20. I did love that horror map. I also would go around trying out maps and also leaving a link of a video that I did on the map. It would be a good idea if you made a version of the map but in sandbox, that is, a version with noclip and inventory.

Played this, was very impressed by it (great job!) Then went on to play Maplab's halloween horror V collection. One of the maps (titled Visitor) was very similar to this one, and made right around the same time. I don't think there was any copying going on, but it was just a really funny coincidence. Check it out if you have time, some really stellar maps there.

10/10 mf broke down the door and i tried running to my room but it was too dark and got jumpscared and my soul was taken out of me for a second
